Dane Avondoglio, MS, DMD
Dr. Dane Avondoglio grew up in northwest NJ and graduated from the University of Richmond. Before embarking on his journey in dental school, he worked as a cancer research biologist at the National Cancer Institute, where he published two significant papers. He also earned a Master of Science degree in biomedical sciences from UMDNJ and served as a middle school math and English teacher. After graduating with distinction from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where he received awards in implant dentistry, he completed a one-year residency at the VA Medical Center in Washington, DC. During this time, he expanded his skills in advanced dentistry in Cincinnati, performing everything from smile makeovers to complex implant surgeries. Dr. Dane understood the importance of investing in his education, making continuing education a priority. He is currently studying at the Kois Center in Seattle and is working towards achieving accredited status from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Additionally, Dr. Dane has obtained his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, having passed a rigorous written examination and completed over 500 hours of continuing education. After two years in private practice in northern NJ and four years associating in the Cincinnati area, he and his wife took over the practice of Dr. Starla Clark, where he continues to provide exceptional care. In his free time, Dr. Dane enjoys skiing, golfing, traveling, cooking, and spending time with his wife, family, and friends. He is also on faculty at the University of Cincinnati Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program, teaching newly graduated dentists the art of restorative dentistry and dental photography.
Renata Villarreal, DMD
Dr. Renata Villarreal was born in Ecuador and grew up in Newtown, Connecticut. She graduated with a B.S. degree in molecular cell biology from the University of Connecticut. Upon graduating from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine with Dean’s list distinction and induction into the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society, she completed a one-year residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Dr. Villarreal is well trained in advanced dentistry in Cincinnati, particularly in restoring full mouth rehabilitation cases. She also provides IV moderate sedation, connective tissue grafting, Pinhole, LANAP (Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure), Botox, and dermal fillers. Dedicated to advancing her skills, she participates in various Continuing Education programs, including those offered by Smiles Created. Dr. Renata enjoys traveling, and spending time with family, while continuously seeking ways to advance dentistry in Cincinnati.
Amy - Business Administrator
Amy has enjoyed working in the dental field for over 15 years, contributing to advanced dentistry in Cincinnati. Throughout her career, she has served as a chairside assistant and scheduling coordinator, and she is currently our business administrator at Smiles Created. Amy's goal is to help our patients understand and achieve their dental needs, which aligns with Dr. Dane's commitment to quality care. In her spare time, Amy enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family.
Lea - Front Desk
Lea has over a decade of customer service experience. She joined Smiles Created in 2022, where she has been dedicated to helping patients through each step of their dental visit, from making them feel comfortable to scheduling their appointments and processing their insurance claims at this advanced dentistry in Cincinnati. When she's not in the office, Lea enjoys painting and spending quality time with family and friends. She also appreciates the exceptional care provided by Dr. Dane, Dr. Renata, and the entire team.
Sue - Hygienist
Sue graduated cum laude from the dental hygiene program at the University of Cincinnati in 1988. She has enjoyed working at Smiles Created, a part of the advanced dentistry community in Cincinnati, for the last 23 years. A native Cincinnatian, she resides in West Chester with her rescued dog, Lucky. A healthy lifestyle is important to Sue; she enjoys weight training and running to stay fit. In her free time, Sue loves traveling and exploring the outdoors, often seeking out the best practices in advance dentistry in Cincinnati, such as those offered by Dr. Dane and Dr. Renata.
Christi - Hygienist
Christi has over 23 years of experience as a dental hygienist in advanced dentistry in Cincinnati. Having lived on the eastside of Cincinnati her entire life, she takes pride in contributing to the community, including her work at Smiles Created. Christi enjoys spending quality time with her children, grandchildren, and pets. In her free time, she also enjoys gardening and doing jigsaw puzzles, often reflecting on her experiences with Dr. Dane and the advancements in the field of dentistry.
Samantha - Certified Dental Assistant
Samantha is a certified dental assistant and has been with Smiles Created since 2020. At our office, known for advanced dentistry in Cincinnati, Sam enjoys the teamwork and is dedicated to patient care. She works alongside Dr. Dane and Dr. Renata, assisting in both advanced restorative dentistry and periodontal procedures. Outside of the office, Sam enjoys coaching youth sports, painting, and spending time with family and friends, embodying the community spirit of Smiles Created.
Kendra - Certified Dental Assistant
Kendra is a certified dental assistant who joined Smiles Created in 2024. Kendra is a Cincinnati native who attended Fairfield High. Kendra assists Dr. Dane and Dr. Renata during advanced restorative and surgical procedures. Kendra enjoys learning about new dental technology and providing patient education. In her free time, Kendra enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
